I love how Matt Cooke is the only "dirty" player in the NHL, and how Lemieux is a "two-bit phony" for his remarks on the Islanders-Penguins debacle. SI writer Michael Farber had alot more to say on the matter, you can read the whole article here if you haven't already done so.

We all know hockey is a big deal in Canada and that it is a dangerous sport, but do the Police really need to get involved because a player was seriously injured during a game. - We in no way feel Zdeno Chara's hit on Max Pacioretty was in the best interest of the game and we think it should have been dealt with differently by the NHL.

The NHL may be feeling the absense of Sidney Crosby just as much as the Penguins are.

Crosby has been out over 2 months and is still has the 9th most points in the league.
