The Penguins have hit the century mark in points for only the seventh time in team history.

The Capitals have taken over the top spot in the East with their overtime winner against Buffalo yesterday.

In ESPN's trophy tracker they only have Dan Bylsma and Kris Letang from the Penguins worthy of any consideration and they just barely cracked the top 5.

The playoff hopes of the New Jersey Devils came to an end yesterday at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens.

The Carolina Hurricanes are inching closer to taking over the 8th and final playoff spot from the New York Rangers.

The WBS Penguins have clinched the regulare season title and home ice throughout the playoffs.
