Around the Boards

There have been reports that a game 5 between the Pens and Lightning actually happened yesterday, we can neither confirm or deny these rumours but if you happen to want more information on the metter you can go here, here, and/or here.

The Rangers must have been planning this vacation for weeks now, being that they all but showed up for the 5 games it took for them to be eliminated by the Capitals.

After failing to field a respectful team in the Playoff the Rangers extended coach Tortorella's contract 3-years.

Will Evgeni Malkin be back these playoffs before Sidney Crosby, and should Eric Tangradi be in the lineup for Game 6.

After acting rather non-chalant in the Canadiens first two victories to open the series against the Bruins Carey Price and the Canadiens finds themselves in s 3-2 hole.

It's a good news/bad news situation for the Buffalo Sabres today as they will be without the services of Jason Pominville but may be gaining the services of Derek Roy back into the line up today against the Flyers.

Jonathan Quick was shelled 52 times last night and stopped all but 1 to keep the Kings in the playoffs.

Pens-Bolts Game 6 is scheduled for a 7:08 start on Monday.
