Penguins Game Day

When: April 8, 2011 - 7:00 pm | Where: Nassau Coliseum
Watch: ROOT SPORTS | Radio: Pens HD Radio, 105.9 FM

The Penguins are invading Long Island tonight along with probably several thousand fans are reigning upon the Island courtesy of The Pensblog. Both sides are stating that they want to have a clean game but from the early word Dan Bylsma isn't taking any chances and has decided to dress Eric Godard tonight we don't have an official report on this just yet. There was also word early this morning that Brent Johnson would be between the pipes but that has since changed with Fleury supposedly getting the start.

The lines in practice for the Penguins this morning were: Neal-Letestu-Kovalev, Kunitz-Staal-Kennedy, Asham-Talbot-Dupuis, Rupp-Adams-Godard, Tangradi-Comrie-Conner. We didn't see anything about the defensive pairings but one might think that one of the defenseman may have come down with the 24-hour flu which would give ample reason to insert Deryk Engelland into the lineup tonight.

The Islanders have nothing to play for tonight except a better pick in this years draft. They will be starting Al Montoya in net tonight and most likely have goon of the year Trevor Gillies in the line up as well.

Let's Do This.
