The Penguins came out pretty quick and with Kennedy's 20th goal of the season less than 2 minutes into the game but then allowed the Panthers to resume where they had left off in Pittsburgh 6 days earlier allowing the Panther to jump to an early 2-1 lead and get off a ton of shots on Brent Johnson. But the Penguins were able to bounce back and tie things up in the second with a goal from Dupuis and hold Florida to just 3 shots. The game finished with the Penguins continuing to get chances and held the Panthers to very little. The Penguins took the lead on a delayed penalty situation which gave the sniper Michalek the chance to fire one from the point and give the Penguins the lead and the win. Craig "Mowhawk" Adams sealed the victory with an empty netter with 1:30 left in the game. The Penguins play next at home against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night.
